The PMC Winter Cycle is a way to channel physical, mental and emotional energy to fight cancer. Participants resolve to find a cure for all types of cancer by raising money for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (Dana-Farber). The PMC Winter Cycle donates 100 percent of every rider-raised dollar directly to Dana-Farber.
Donations go even further this year with a generous 1:1 match up to $2 million from an anonymous donor – learn more here!
The 2021 PMC Winter Cycle is postponed and will be rescheduled for Spring 2021. Read the full statement here.
There are two different ways you can participate this year: You can ride on the field at Fenway Park or at home on a stationary bike as a virtual rider! The PMC Winter Cycle and Fenway Park will follow all Boston public health regulations and guidelines by limiting large groups and practicing safe social distancing. The PMC Winter Cycle will be held pending City of Boston and public health approval.
Virtual rider registration is open and Fenway Park rider registration will reopen as soon as a new date is established.
The PMC is the single largest athletic fundraiser in the country. A model for fundraising efficiency, the PMC has donated 100 percent of every rider-raised dollar directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute since 2007. Since its inception in 1980, the PMC has contributed $767 million to lifesaving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber. The 2020 gift to Dana-Farber was $50 million.
