After the live sessions, each session will be available on the virtual streaming page for two weeks (until June 20).

FENWAY PARK DETAILS for fenway park riders

  • You can find your session time on your PMC Winter Cycle Manage page.
  • Arrive at Fenway Park 30 minutes before your session starts. You will not be allowed to enter earlier than this, but please allow yourself enough time to enter, find your bike, and set it up to fit you. Speakers will address riders 10 minutes before your session starts.
  • You will be assigned a bike when you arrive. If you have friends, family members, or teammates you would like to ride with, please check in together. We cannot guarantee that you will be next to your desired rider and we are unable to hold spots.
  • Do not bring guests with you. No guests are allowed at the 2021 PMC Winter Cycle. Only PMC Winter Cycle riders, volunteers, staff, and Fenway Park staff are allowed at this year's event.
  • Enter Fenway Park at the Van Ness Street Entrance (Ambulance Gate on Van Ness Street). This entrance is past the retired player banners and across the street from the Verb Hotel parking lot. Find directions and parking information here.
Riders will exit out at Gate E on Lansdowne Street. We recommend getting picked up on Brookline Ave.

  • Wear your PMC Winter Cycle shirt and bring your PMC Winter Cycle water bottle with you! Water will be available at Fenway Park but please fill your water bottle at home.
  • Wear sunscreen. Sunday is expected to be hot and sunny, and you will be out in the direct sun at Fenway Park.
  • Bring shoes with you to Fenway Park. There will not be spin shoes available to borrow at the event. PMC Winter Cycle bikes are compatible with SPD cleats and have cages for riders who would prefer to wear sneakers. Check out our sponsor TIEM if you are in need of spin shoes!
  • Riders do not have to wear masks inside the park or while riding if they are vaccinated (but are welcome to do so!). Masks are required for those who are not vaccinated.

VIRTUAL RIDER DETAILS for virtual and fenway park riders

  • All registered riders – virtual riders and Fenway Park riders – have access to the virtual sessions: wintercycle.org/springedition. The page is password protected; all registered PMC Winter Cycle participants can find their password and link to the page on their PMC Winter Cycle Manage page.
  • You can ride just one or up to all five sessions! The first session starts at 8 AM and the last session will end at 2:45 PM. Check out the instructors leading each one!
  • Speakers will address riders 15 minutes before each session, so we encourage you to be at your bike early.
  • Stretch in between sessions! Bay State Physical Therapy has published exercises for you to do with (or without!) your resistance band.

FUNDRAISING TIPS

The biggest fundraising days of the year for PMC Winter Cycle riders are the day before the event and the day of the event, so ask your supporters to donate now!

  • Ask for donations before you ride. Email your supporters using email templates available in your PMC Winter Cycle account, create and/or post in your Facebook Fundraiser, and add your PMC Winter Cycle profile page link to your social media profiles.
    • Remind your supporters of why you're riding, your fundraising goal, and that 100 percent of all rider-raised funds go directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
  • Post photos on social media from your ride! Whether you're riding at home or at Fenway Park, post photos on social media sharing why you're riding and asking for support.
  • Thank your donors. Thank those who have already donated to your fundraising, if you haven't yet, and thank them after you ride to share your PMC Winter Cycle experience and fundraising process.
  • The fundraising deadline is July 1. You have time to continue fundraising post-event!
